Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Announces Start of Umrah Season for Citizens, Residents and GCC People
Jeddah, July 11 2023, SPA -- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced today the start of the Umrah season by issuing the necessary permits through Nusuk or Tawakkalna applications for citizens and residents, as well as citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This step aims to enable more Muslims to perform Umrah and visit while improving the quality of services provided to them in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Nusuk is an application launched by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to serve the pilgrims by facilitating the issuance of necessary permits for Umrah and visit based on the authorities' approved capacity. This will ensure a spiritual and safe atmosphere while maintaining regulatory controls, done in integration with the Tawakkalna application to verify the health condition of the permit applicant.
Recently, the ministry announced that it welcomes Umrah performers from outside Saudi Arabia and has started issuing electronic visas for Umrah.
Interested individuals can submit an application through the https://www.nusuk.sa/ar/about platform. The permitted date of their arrival to the Kingdom will begin from the start of Muharram 1445 AH.
