Pakistani Premier Meets Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon

Islamabad, June 18, SPA--Pakistan Premier Syed Yousuf Reza Gilani met
here on Wednesday evening with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin
Saeed Awwadh Asiri, whose term of office ended after nine years of
service as Saudi ambassador to Pakistan.
During the meeting, the Pakistani Premier sent his greetings to
the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud, expressing his government's appreciation of and gratitude to
the King for his feelings towards Pakistan.
He stressed that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia stem
from common faith, values, culture and identical visions about most
regional and international issues.
Gilani commended the efforts exerted by Ambassador Asiri during
his work in Pakistan in strengthening bilateral relations between the
two countries.
On his part, Ambassador Asiri thanked the Premier for the
Pakistani government's facilitation of his mission in Pakistan.
