Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Sends Verbal Message to South Sudan's President

Juba, August 02, 2023, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a verbal message to the President of South Sudan, Lt. Gen. Salva Kiir, pertaining to bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance cooperation.
The Advisor at the Royal Court, Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan, delivered the message during a meeting with President Salva Kiir today in Juba.
During the meeting, Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to South Sudan's president, government and people.
President Kiir also sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince and the government and people of Saudi Arabia.
Discussions during the meeting went over bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in various fields, in addition to regional and international developments of mutual concern.
President Kiir also voiced his country's support for the Kingdom's bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh, expressing his country's support for holding the first Saudi-African Summit and the fifth Arab-African Summit in Saudi Arabia this year.
For his part, Qattan voiced the Kingdom's appreciation for South Sudan's support of the Saudi Expo2030 bid, which stemmed from the distinguished relations between the two countries.
