Saudi Shoura Council Chairman meets with Turkey's Premier

Ankara, June 18, SPA -- Turkey's Premier Recep Tayyeb Erdogan
received at his office here today Saudi Shoura Council Chairman Dr.
Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh who is visiting Turkey
at an invitation of Turkey's National Assembly Speaker.

During the meeting, Erdogan welcomed Al Al-Sheikh and the
accompanying delegation, lauding the remarkable development of
relations between Turkey and the Kingdom which he attributed to the
high profile of the Kingdom's status in the region and the entire
world.
He expressed his greetings to and respect for the Custodian of the
Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Erdogan confirmed that the two countries' views are identical on the
issues of concern to the region and the world at large, particularly
that they both work for peace and stability in the Middle East.
We do support the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to bring about peace in
the region and the numerous initiatives His Majesty has launched, the
recent of which was that on dialogue among followers of religions and
civilizations.
In turn, the Shoura Council head expressed thanks for the warm
welcome and the generous hospitality accorded to him and the
accompanying delegation.
He said his current visit to Turkey comes as a confirmation of the
Kingdom's keenness and the support of the monarch for further
boosting the current flourishing relations between the two friendly
countries, noting the importance of Turkey at the regional and
international arenas.
