INTILAND LAUNCHES NEW HOTEL CHAIN

Jakarta, June 19 (ANTARA) - PT. Intiland Development Tbk said it will launch a new hotel chain Whiz Hotels with reasonable rents.

"We will offer a perfect combination of comfort, strategic locations, and clean environment," President Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Intiland Lennard Ho said in Jakarta on Thursday.

This new hotel chain is aimed at the domestic market segment, especially highly mobile young executives, Lennard said.

Intiland predicted this hotel chain will in the long run develop into a corporate business machine. The company planned to build up to 60 Whiz Hotels in the next five years to become a leading hotel chain.

Lennard Ho also believed that a hotel chain business has a great potential because the social and economic condition of the people had been increasing, which is apparent in the growth of domestic airline passengers, and growing number of private car owners in Indonesia.
