KFA Supports Saudi Arabia’s Bid to Host 2034 World Cup

Kuwait, October 5, 2023, SPA -- The Chairman of Kuwait Football Association (KFA), Abdullah Al-Shaheen, and members of the Board of Directors announced their support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup.
Al-Shaheen said in a press statement Wednesday evening that the KFA will be one of the strongest supporters of the Saudi bid, which represents Asian, Arab, and Gulf football in particular, adding that the Kingdom has achieved great successes in hosting various sporting events, and it also has the ability to present an exceptional addition to the World Cup and attract football fans.
He also pointed out that the Kingdom has vision, ambition, and great potential that make it able to organize the World football event.
