Bahrain Welcomes Saudi Arabia’s Bid to Host 2034 World Cup

Manama, October 5, 2023, SPA -- The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in a statement Manama’s full support to Saudi efforts to host the 2034 World Cup, voicing confidence in the Kingdom’s ability to organize the prestigious tournament and continue its global leading roles.
The ministry also noted Bahrain’s pride in Saudi Arabia’s developmental achievements and its record of successes in hosting superb and high-profile global political, economic, and sports events as well as Riyadh’s initiatives in promoting values of peace and tolerance among peoples of the world.
