Foreign Minister Holds Talks over Phone with Norwegian Counterpart, Expresses Appreciation for Norway's Vote for the UN Resolution Calling for Immediate Humanitarian Truce in Gaza

Riyadh, October 30, 2023, SPA -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah today held talks over the phone with his Norwegian counterpart Espen Barth Eide, with whom he discussed the continued military escalation and the harming of unarmed civilians in Gaza.
The Saudi minister expressed appreciation for Norway's vote in favor of the UN resolution, adopted on October 27, 2023, which demanded an immediate humanitarian truce in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Prince Faisal stressed the role the international community plays in stopping the escalation, preventing the forced displacement of the population of Gaza, and working to find a just and comprehensive political solution to the Palestinian issue, to achieve international peace and security.
