Foreign Minister Holds Phone Call with Foreign Minister of Malta

Riyadh, October 29, 2023, SPA -- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, held a phone call today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malta, Ian Borg.
During the call, Prince Faisal expressed appreciation for the support of Malta regarding the United Nations resolution issued on October 27, 2023. This resolution aims to secure an immediate ceasefire and establish an urgent humanitarian truce in the besieged Gaza Strip while upholding international laws, norms, and humanitarian principles.
The two sides discussed the critical developments in Gaza and its surroundings. Prince Faisal emphasized the international community's role in achieving an immediate cessation of hostilities, making every effort to prevent further bloodshed, protect innocent civilians, avoid exacerbating the humanitarian crisis, and promote international efforts to return to a comprehensive and just path to peace.
