Foreign Minister Holds Phone Call with Spanish Foreign Minister

Riyadh, October 29, 2023, SPA-- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, held a phone call today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares.
At the beginning of the call, Prince Faisal appreciated the support of Spain for the United Nations (UN) resolution issued last Friday on (October 27, 2023), which aims at an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of an urgent humanitarian truce in the besieged Gaza Strip, while adhering to international laws and norms and international humanitarian law.
The two ministers discussed the evolving situation in Gaza and its surroundings, emphasizing the international community's role in achieving a ceasefire and protecting civilians. Prince Faisal stressed the importance of efforts to prevent further bloodshed, halt military operations, and alleviate the humanitarian crisis.
