KSrelief Carries out Specialized Surgeries in Socotra and Mauritania

Hidaybu, Mauritania, November 28, 2023, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday started carrying out pediatric surgery and urologic examinations, as part of one of its voluntary medical project, in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate.
During this campaign, KSrelief volunteer medical team will conduct 100 surgeries, and carry out urologic examinations.
Socotra Governor Raafat Al-Thaqli said the campaign plays an important role in alleviating the suffering of children and patients with urinary tract conditions in the governorate, and praised the Kingdom's support, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, of the Yemeni medical sector.
KSrelief also extended humanitarian aid to Mauritania, carrying out 50 successful surgeries on patients with urological problems between November 20 and 24, 2023.
These campaigns are part of the humanitarian medical projects being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, with the aim of providing medical services to limited-income patients.
