KSrelief Concludes Saudi Noor Voluntary Project to Combat Blindness in Togo

Lomé, November 30, 2023, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday concluded the Saudi Noor Volunteer Project to Combat Blindness in the city of Lomé, Togo.
The program took place from November 19 to November 25.
During the project, the medical volunteer team affiliated with the center conducted examinations of 5,619 individuals and distributed 1,884 eyeglasses. The team also performed 431 cataract surgeries and handed over 3,188 medications.
The Noor project in Togo is an extension of the volunteer medical projects aimed at combating blindness and related diseases provided by KSrelief, the Kingdom’s humanitarian arm.
These projects aim to assist patients and individuals affected by eye diseases in countries and populations in need across the world.
