Foreign Minister Arrives in Geneva to Head Saudi Delegation in High-Level Event to Celebrate 75th Anniversary of UDHR and Delegation of Ministerial Committee Assigned by Arab Islamic Summit

Geneva, December 12, 2023, SPA -- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, arrived today in Geneva, Switzerland, to head the Kingdom's delegation participating in the high-level event to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), in addition to heading the delegation of the ministerial committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit to hold a number of meetings.
The two-day high-level event on December 11-12, 2023, will discuss strengthening multilateral cooperation to protect human rights in light of the many challenges and crises the world is witnessing, including wars and conflicts.
It also highlights the importance of promoting respect for social, cultural, economic, civil and political human rights, guaranteed by international law and international humanitarian law, and taking all necessary means to preserve and promote them.
