KSrelief Signs Agreement on Operation of Nutritional Clinics in Yemen’s Hodeidah

Riyadh, December 13, 2023, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a cooperation agreement on Tuesday with a civil-society group regarding the operation of nutritional clinics in Yemen’s Hodeidah governorate.
The agreement, valued at US$1.813 million, intends to benefit 122,908 individuals, including those displaced or affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the host community in the governorate.
KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz signed the agreement at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The objective of the agreement is to safeguard the lives of displaced individuals by providing comprehensive nutritional healthcare services and reducing morbidity and mortality rates among them.
The agreement includes providing reproductive health services and offering medical examinations for children. It also aims to treat and prevent epidemic diseases, raise health awareness, and supply medications, medical and laboratory fluids, and medical equipment.
The initiative is part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief projects, carried out through KSrelief, its humanitarian arm, to support the medical sector and provide assistance to patients worldwide.
