Enqelab Sq. mural depicts Shah's "medal of torture"

TEHRAN, Feb. 05 (MNA) – The latest famous mural in the Enqelab roundabout in downtown Tehran, depicts a photo of Shah with a "medal of torture" hanging from his chest showing the torture of people during the despotic regime.

According to the public relations department of the Islamic Development Organization (IDO), on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the latest mural in Tehran's iconic Revolution roundabout with an image of "the sign of the torture of the Iranian people on the chest of the Pahlavi dictator" was released to the public on Monday.

The design of the mural in Tehran's Revolution roundabout depicted the crimes committed by the Pahlavi regime's notorious SAVAK (Sazman-e Etelaat Va Amniat Keshvar" (Organization of Intelligence and Security of the Country) ) against the revolutionists and ordinary people.

The last Iranain Shah was toppled in the Islamic revolution in February 1979.
