Revolutionary Site in Mt Jangja Draws Numerous Visitors

Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The Revolutionary Site in Mt Jangja draws an increasing number of visitors ahead of the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

It is a historic place where the Chairman stayed for over 20 days in October, Juche 39 (1950). During his stay he fostered his will to glorify the country's future in anticipation of the victory in the war, wishing President Kim Il Sung good health and wellbeing.

In February, workers, youth and students from many units, including the Jagang Provincial Commission of Science and Technology, the Kaechon Area Coal-mining Complex and Kanggye University of Medicine, and service personnel of the People's Army have visited the historic site. The number of visitors is growing as days go by.

The visitors looked round the revolutionary site, being briefed on the monument to the undying revolutionary activities of the Chairman in Mt Jangja. -0-
