PM's Media Office: The Iraqi Discourse In Munich Was Frank About Issues Of Sovereignty, Security, And Economic Partnerships

Baghdad / NINA /- The Director of the Prime Minister’s Media Office, Rabie Nader, issued today, Saturday, a clarification regarding the 22 meetings  of the Prime Minister in Munich.

 Nader said in a blog post on his account on the “X” platform, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani held more than 22 meetings in Munich in just two days, and the Iraqi discourse was frank on issues of sovereignty, security, and serious economic partnerships.”

 He added, "There was great international understanding of Iraq's desire to move its relationship with the international coalition countries from security to strategic partnerships in various fields."

 He continued, "The messages were clear and included the following:

 1- The security of Iraq is necessary for the security of the region.

 2- A stable Iraq is in everyone’s interest.

 3- Iraq is a meeting point, and it refuses to be an arena for settling scores.

 4- The international community must move quickly to stop the war on Gaza./End
