Iran defeated by China at 2024 Paralympic Final Qualification

TEHRAN, Apr. 06 (MNA) – Iran’s women’s sitting volleyball team fell short against China in the 2024 Paralympic Final Qualification Tournament in Dali, China.

In the third match on Saturday, Iran’s women’s sitting volleyball team was defeated by China in straight sets (25-17, 25-11, 25-13) in the sporting event.

Iran will face Slovenia in the fourth match on Sunday.

Previously in the tournament, Iran emerged victorious against Japan and Thailand.

The tournament brings Iran, Germany, Japan, Mongolia, Slovenia, Thailand, and Ukraine together.

The winner will qualify for the 2024 Summer Paralympics.

The tournament follows a single round-robin format.
