Materials Supplied to Housing Construction Site in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- Different sectors and units of the national economy of the DPRK are giving priority to producing and supplying materials necessary for the project for building 10 000 flats at the third-stage in the Hwasong area of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
Officials and workers of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex sent many iron plates and pig irons necessary for the production of building materials to the construction site of dwelling houses by ensuring the full-capacity operation of equipment.
Those of the Chollima Steel Complex is giving priority to ensuring the supply of round steel, wire nets and shaped steel.
The February 8 Vinalon Complex, the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and other units have sent materials necessary for construction.
The same is true of different units under the Pyongyang Construction Commission, the Taedonggang Battery Factory, the Munphyong Smeltery and the Tanchon Smeltery.
Workers in the field of forestry increase the production of timber needed for the project. -0-
