PM Holds Phone Talks With The President of Turkmenistan

Baghdad /NINA/ -Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani held telephone talks with the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, today, Wednesday.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance the prospects of cooperation and common interests between the two friendly countries, and enhance trade and economic relations, in addition to discussing support for investments and cooperation in energy projects, especially in the fields of gas, oil products, and renewable energy.

Al-Sudani received an invitation from Berdimuhamedow to attend the International Peace Forum, which will be held in the capital, Ashgabat, in December of this year, during which a number of current international issues, sustainable development and joint cooperation will be discussed./End
