The President Of The Republic To The Iranian Ambassador: Iraq Supports All Initiatives That Promote Stability And Regional Partnership

Baghdad/NINA/-President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid discussed with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadiq bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields.

The President's media office stated in a statement that "the President received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadiq, at al-Salam Palace in Baghdad. During the meeting, they stressed the importance of developing areas of joint cooperation between the two countries and coordinating efforts to confront regional and international challenges."

He also stressed "Iraq's support for all initiatives that consolidate stability and strengthen regional partnerships for the benefit of the security and prosperity of the peoples of the region."

For his part, the Iranian ambassador expressed his country's interest in expanding cooperation with Iraq, stressing Tehran's keenness to continue coordination and consultation with Baghdad on various issues of common interest. /End
