The Minister Of Communications Directed Necessary Measures Be Taken To Activate The Joint Cooperation Frameworks For The Meeting Of The Iraqi-Azerbaijani Committee

Baghdad/NINA/- Minister of Communications, Hiyam Al-Yasiri, directed that all necessary measures be taken to activate joint cooperation frameworks and prepare for the meeting of the Iraqi-Azerbaijani Joint Committee.

A statement from the Ministry of Communications stated that Al-Yasiri chaired, on Wednesday, a follow-up meeting on the work of the fourth session of the Iraqi-Azerbaijani Joint Committee, in the presence of the Vice-Chairman of the Committee and representatives of ministries and the private sector from Iraq.

According to the statement, during the meeting, several topics were discussed aimed at activating previously signed memoranda of understanding with the Azerbaijani side, in addition to preparing to sign new memoranda of understanding in other fields, as well as activating joint cooperation in various other fields, such as trade, culture, education, and financial and service transactions.

According to the statement, the Minister listened to the comments and proposals presented by the representatives of the ministries present to identify the obstacles to work and directed that all necessary measures be taken to expedite and activate joint cooperation frameworks and prepare for the meeting of the Iraqi-Azerbaijani Committee next July.

Those present expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Communications for her continuous efforts and her great commitment to strengthening joint cooperation with Azerbaijan and benefiting from its expertise in areas of common interest. /End
