Al-Sudani Receives A Group Of Arab Media Professionals

Baghdad /NINA/- Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received a group of Arab media professionals participating in the Fourth Arab Media Conference held in Baghdad last week on Saturday.

Al-Sudani highlighted the importance of the role of responsible and objective media in conveying facts to the public, especially regarding the ability to face challenges. He explained that Iraq is currently witnessing a qualitative shift in all areas of life, services, and development, in addition to the significant efforts made in strategic projects that strengthen its economy and achieve comprehensive integration. He also highlighted the implementation of infrastructure development and sustainable development projects in all sectors, affirming Iraq's pioneering and pivotal role in the region and its outreach to the world.

Al-Sudani stressed that "the Arab and Development Summits and their outcomes reflected Iraq's strength and role in finding solutions to regional and international problems. He indicated that strengthening its position and progress constitutes a source of strength for Arab countries and supports factors of stability, development, and common interests, in addition to expanding opportunities for integration with all Arab brothers."

 During the meeting, Al-Sudani reverently recalled the martyrs of the press during the aggression on Gaza and southern Lebanon, and the sacrifices they made that contributed to conveying the injustice of the Palestinian people and informing the world of the crimes of genocide being committed against them.
