Al-Hakim Discusses With The Russian Ambassador To Baghdad Ways To Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Baghdad/NINA/- Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with Elbrus Kutrashev, the Russian Ambassador to Baghdad, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Baghdad and Moscow. They exchanged views on developments on the Iraqi and regional levels.

During the meeting, according to a statement from his office, al-Hakim reiterated his vision regarding the situation in Iraq and its political, security, and social stability, in addition to the urban, service, and development progress. He also stressed the need to achieve peace and stability in the region.

He pointed to the importance of the upcoming elections, which their role lie as a foundation for sustainable stability in Iraq and contribute to the consolidation of democracy.

Al-Hakim stressed the need to achieve economic reforms in Iraq by diversifying sources of income, with a focus on the five pillars of industry, agriculture, tourism, investment, and technology./End
