Information Bureau to help tourists at Dubai Airport
Dubai, July 12, 2009 (WAM) - Tourists arriving at the Terminal 3 of the Dubai International Airport will get information on hotels and what’s on in Dubai directly from a Visitors’ Information Bureau (VIB), which is now open to assist visitors coming to Dubai on business tours and
leisure holidays according to a report in "Khaleej Times."
Director of Visitors’ Information Bureaux at Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Salah Rashid Al Ansari, said the new VIB is operated as part of DTCM’s relentless efforts to set up a one-stop information shop for tourists in Dubai.
He said this new bureau is the sixth of such a facility operated in the emirate by DTCM. Five other VIBs are located in Dubai International Airport Terminal 1, Deira City Centre, Ibn Battuta Mall, Wafi City and BurJuman Centre. All information about the emirate and its tourist attractions and facilities available to visitors, including various events and entertainment programmes and shopping promotions in Dubai are available in all VIBs, Al Ansari said.
