Winners of “Glorification of the Homeland” drawing contest awarded by AZERTAC

AZERTAC's Children's Knowledge Portal, in collaboration with Uzbekistan's Tong Yulduzi newspaper, celebrated the winners of their joint “Glorification of the Homeland” drawing competition on June 10, marking World Children's Day.

The award ceremony brought together the winning children, their parents, and AZERTAC representatives.

Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of AZERTAC, highlighted the agency’s commitment to international partnerships, especially with Tong Yulduzi, and outlined the competition’s goals.

"This initiative fosters patriotism, strengthens friendship between Azerbaijani and Uzbek children, develops creativity, preserves national traditions, and discovers young talents," Aliyev stated. He explained that a professional jury evaluated entries based on originality, creativity, and authenticity.

Among Azerbaijani participants, Nigar Omarova won first prize, followed by Afshin Sadikhzade (second) and Nuray Mammadli (third). Winners shared their artistic inspirations during the event.

The selected artworks will be published in both the Children's Knowledge Portal and Tong Yulduzi newspaper.
