Al-Wajh Governorate Hosts Water Sports Through Three-Day Community Event

   Al-Wajh, July 24, 2025, SPA -- The water sports initiative, organized by the Ministry of Sport's Tabuk Region branch, launched yesterday in Al-Wajh Governorate. The event, which will run for three days, attracted a vibrant crowd of residents and participants of all ages.
   The event featured training sessions for children, awareness lectures on the benefits of swimming, adult-focused activities, and specialized workshops on lifesaving techniques and water safety. Competitions, including freestyle swimming and water polo are also part of the program.
   Director of the Ministry of Sport's branch in Tabuk Abdullah Al-Ghamdi stated that this initiative is part of the ministry's efforts to promote community sports and encourage physical activity as a lifestyle. This aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance the quality of life and foster comprehensive community health.
   He emphasized the ministry's commitment to identifying emerging talents in water sports and providing them with a safe, supportive, and stimulating training environment.
