Foreign Minister Araqchi is in Tajikistan on daylong visit

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi is in Tajikistan for talks with top officials there.

Araqchi arrived in Tajikistan’s capital, Dushanbe, on Wednesday morning for a one-day visit.  

Ismaeil Baqaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who accompanies the top diplomat during the trip, announced their arrival on his X account.

“This morning, alongside Foreign Minister Araqchi, we arrived in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, the land of our ethnically, linguistically, and emotionally kindred people,” said the spokesperson.

He added that the agenda for this one-day trip includes discussions with high-ranking Tajik officials on bilateral relations, as well as regional and international developments.
