KACARE Supports Summer Program in Japan for Female Renewable Energy Students

   Tokyo, July 29, 2025, SPA -- King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) is continuing its efforts to develop national capacities in the energy sector by supporting the “Renewable Energy and Sustainability Summer Program” in Japan, targeting female renewable energy engineering students from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
   The four-week program, held across multiple Japanese cities including Tokyo, Kansai, Kyushu, Fukushima, and Tohoku, is organized in cooperation with the University of Tokyo and several leading academic and research institutions.
   The initiative aims to enhance participants’ scientific and practical knowledge in the fields of renewable energy and sustainability. Students engage in field visits to power plants, attend intensive lectures, and participate in supervised research experiments led by energy experts.
   The program is managed by KACARE’s Energy Capacity Building Sector, which oversees coordination with international partners and provides both academic and financial support. The initiative reflects KACARE’s commitment to empowering and qualifying the next generation of national talent in the sustainable energy field.
