ZATCA Becomes First Saudi Entity to Achieve Highest Global Project Management Maturity Level

   Riyadh, July 29, 2025, SPA -- The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has achieved level five of the maturity model of the Project Management, Programme Management and Portfolio Management (P3M3), the highest global classification. This makes ZATCA the first Saudi entity to reach this milestone. The certification was granted by AXELOS, a leading international organization in project management standards.
   This achievement marks a new national success story, reflecting ZATCA's commitment to excellence and adherence to global best practices in project and program management. It also highlights the authority's institutional development and its capacity to deliver on strategic plans through well-executed, results-driven projects.
   Level Five of the P3M3 model represents the highest degree for assessing project management offices' maturity, emphasizing institutionalized and sustainable practices. This is achieved through a commitment to key areas such as resource management, financial management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, benefits management, and organizational governance, all implemented according to a clear and defined methodology across all project activities.
