Pres. Pezeshkian to visit NY to attend UNGA meeting

TEHRAN, Aug. 17 (MNA) – The deputy for Communications and Information at the Presidential Office has said that President Masoud Pezeshkian will travel to New York on September 23 for the annual meeting of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).

Leading a high-ranking delegation, Pezeshkian will depart for the New York city to take part in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Mehdi Tabatabaei stated.  

Last year in the United States, the number of meetings and conferences that President Pezeshkian held with heads of state and foreign delegations was unprecedented, compared to the previous years.
