‘The Saudi Emblem Archives’ Exhibition to Hold at Al-Masmak Palace Museum

Riyadh, August 19, 2025, SPA -- The Museums Commission will open the exhibition "The Saudi Emblem Archives," tracing the Saudi national emblem from its adoption in 1932 to the present, at Al-Masmak Palace Museum in Riyadh on Saturday and running until November 21.
Al-Masmak Palace Museum was selected for its historical significance as a landmark associated with the 1902 recapture of Riyadh by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, a key event leading to the Kingdom’s unification.
The display features original documents, rare archival items, interactive installations, and animated films that illustrate the emblem’s historical and design evolution and its role in shaping the Kingdom’s visual identity.
The exhibition builds on the Museums Commission’s initiatives to preserve national heritage and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to highlight heritage in contemporary life.
