Abha, August 21, 2025, SPA -- Arab arts continue to play a prominent role in enhancing tourism and cultural activity, serving as a bridge for communication between peoples, a means of showcasing national identity, and a contributor to the exchange of artistic expertise and the expansion of cultural cooperation among Arab countries.
In this context, the Jordanian Ma’an Folklore Troupe participated for the second consecutive year in Aseer Summer events through the Abha Shopping Festival, presenting traditional performances that drew strong engagement from the audience.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, troupe supervisor Mohammed Krishan explained that the ma’an troupe is keen to present a diverse selection of traditional arts that reflect national identity, most notably Dahhiyah, Dabke, and Jawfiyah, which are collective folk performances that captivate the audience and offer them an authentic heritage experience.
He emphasized that the troupe’s participation in the Abha Shopping Festival for the second consecutive year represents an opportunity to strengthen the presence of Arab culture at festivals and introduce audiences to genuine heritage.
