PRESIDENT CHAIRS CABINET MEETING ON 2010 DRAFT STATE BUDGET
Jakarta, July 14 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono chaired a plenary cabinet meeting at his office here on Tuesday to discuss the 2010 Draft State Budget (RAPBN-2010).
The meeting which started at 1 in the afternoon was attended by all cabinet ministers.
After the presidential election on July 8, 2009, President Yudhoyono has been busily conducting cabinet meetings as well as coordinative meetings at his office.
Last week, the president chaired a limited cabinet meeting to discus post-election economic prospects and the security and political situation.
On Monday, July 13, the president and vice president held a coordinative meeting on corruption eradication program with the related institutions such as Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Supreme Court, and Supreme Audit Board (BPK).
Also present in the cabinet plenary meeting on Tuesday was Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
The vice president had just received a delegation from the Energy World Group at his office for the first time in his activity after the presidential election.
In the meeting with the vice president, the Energy World Group delegation was led by its President Director Stewart Elliot who was accompanied by Finance Director Brian Allen, Technical Directors Bob Hutchison, Thompson Situmorang, Kevin Blount, Conor McCoole, and Priandika Permana of PT Energi Sengkeng.
The vice president on the occasion was accompanied by Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) chairman Muhammad Lutfi, and BKPM officials Luky Eko and Meirios.
After the 90-minute meeting which was closed to the media, none of the participants made any statement to the press.
Even the BKPM chairman Muhammad Lutfi evaded the waiting newsmen and went out through the main gate of the vice presidential office.
After the meeting, Vice President Jusuf Kalla did not make anny comment to the reporters but hurriedly left his office for the presidential office to attend the plenary cabinet meeting with President Yudhoyono. ***
