Unified Mobility Service Launched at Two Holy Mosques During Digital Saudi Day

Madinah, August 27, 2025, SPA -- The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques today launched the “Unified Mobility Service,” aimed at providing pilgrims with various mobility options inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah through a unified digital platform. The service is designed to accommodate different groups by offering organized and easy-to-use booking for wheelchairs, electric carts, and other mobility solutions.
During the launch, held as part of the “Digital Saudi Day” organized by the Digital Government Authority at Taibah University, Deputy President for Digital Transformation at the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques Eng. Mohammed Al-Saqr highlighted the progress of mobility services at the Two Holy Mosques. He noted that the Unified Mobility Service brings together all means of mobility—including electric carts, manual wheelchairs, and free services—into one integrated platform, ensuring full automation of the user journey. The service also provides multilingual information, online booking, and post-use evaluation.
He added that the service seeks to enhance the digital mobility experience at the Two Holy Mosques, build a unified platform for delivering all mobility services, and provide innovative digital products for pilgrims. It also aims to boost the operational efficiency of services and measure their performance accurately as part of the broader system of services offered to pilgrims at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
