Minister of Finance: The Partnership With The World Bank Continues To Support The Government's Financial Reform Priorities

Baghdad/ NINA/ -Finance Minister Taif Sami confirmed on Sunday the continuation of cooperation with the World Bank to support the government's priorities in financial reform and economic management improvement.

According to a ministry statement, the minister emphasized the importance of strengthening the existing partnership between Iraq and the international institution during her meeting with Emmanuel Salinas, Director of the World Bank office for Iraq, the Middle East, and North Africa.

The meeting discussed ongoing areas of cooperation and reviewed the programs and projects supported by the World Bank, particularly those related to economic reform plans and the development of public expenditure systems.

For his part, the World Bank office director expressed the mission's commitment to continuing to provide technical and advisory support to enhance the Iraqi government's efforts to achieve economic stability and sustainable development./ End
