‘Extreme E’ Returns for Celebratory Final Lap October in Saudi Arabia

     Jeddah, September 5, 2025, SPA -- Extreme E, the pioneering electric off-road racing series, announced its return on October 4-5 for a celebratory Final Lap event, marking the conclusion of a series that has helped expand motorsport’s engagement in environmental progress and innovation.
   Since its launch in 2021, Extreme E has introduced electric racing to remote and rugged terrains, spotlighting the impacts of climate change while promoting cutting-edge technologies and strategies for sustainability. Saudi Arabia has been a core part of this journey from the beginning, represented by the Saudi Motorsport Company, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation. The Kingdom hosted the inaugural Desert X Prix and has continued to support Extreme E’s mission for five seasons.
   The series is preparing for its Final Lap that not only pays tribute to its beginnings but also paves the way for the launch of Extreme H, the world’s first hydrogen-powered off-road racing championship.  It will be a moment to celebrate all Extreme E accomplishments so far, while also marking the start of an exciting new chapter, one that strengthens Saudi Arabia’s ambition to be a global hub for innovative motorsport and a leader in building a sustainable future.
