Qassim Governor Praises Local Drone Manufacturing as Strategic Leap for Saudi Industry

   Buraidah, September 09, 2025, SPA -- Governor of Qassim Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz received Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Defense Company Riyad Al-Zamil, along with members of the board.
   Prince Faisal expressed his pride in the drone manufacturing company, affirming that it represents a strategic leap and a source of national pride. He stressed that this achievement reflects the Kingdom's ambitious vision for industrial and technological excellence.
   The governor stated that the industry's true value comes from being built by Saudi hands and minds, not from simply purchasing equipment. He added that localizing military industries is a strategic pillar for strengthening both national defense and the economy, highlighting that the Kingdom relies on its citizens to lead this technological age and achieve progress.
