Construction of Water Pumping Stations Propelled in South Phyongan Province

Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- South Phyongan Province in the DPRK is building a hundred and tens of water pumping stations to irrigate paddy and non-paddy fields of tens of thousands of hectares next year.
The province is directing efforts to creating a model and generalizing it to exchange and share successes and experience and raising the enthusiasm of the masses while supplying workforce, equipment and materials.
Working people in the province involved in the construction are making collective innovations while giving precedence to ensuring quality.
Kaechon City and other cities and counties concluded the construction work of dozens of water pumping stations, and other regions are pushing forward with the construction at the final stage.
