Araghchi meets Japanese foreign minister

New York, IRNA -- Iranian and Japanese foreign ministers met and held talks in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly annual meeting on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed and exchanged views on Iran-Japan bilateral relations, as well as regional and international developments.

Referring to the long-standing and friendly relations between Iran and Japan, the two foreign ministers emphasized the importance of efforts to strengthen relations in all areas of interest to the two countries.
