Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- Rice harvesting is being hastened on a full scale in the rural areas across the DPRK.
Farms in Jaeryong, Chongdan and Paechon counties of South Hwanghae Province are securing spare parts and increasing the utilization of farm machines to harvest rice in large areas every day.
Farms in Anak and Yonan counties set the proper order of work and allocated manpower and farm machines to achieve good results.
Agricultural workers in Jongphyong, Kumya and Hongwon counties of South Hamgyong Province are simultaneously tying up rice plants in sheaves and piling up stacks, while harvesting rice.
North Hwanghae Province has carried out its daily assignments without fail after working out its daily quotas on the basis of analyzing the ripening rate of grains according to fields and plots.
Farms in Sariwon City and Unpha and Kumchon counties are gathering in crops by rationally allocating farm machines.
