Enemies defeated in 12-day Israeli war due to miscalculation

TEHRAN, Sep. 29 (MNA) – Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Ali Fadavi says enemies failed to achieve their predefined objectives during 12-day Israeli war against Iran due to their miscalculation.
Speaking in an unveiling ceremony of 46 titles of books, related to the IRGC during eight years of the Sacred Defense (Iraqi imposed war against Iran in 1980-1988), general Fadavi emphasized that the Iranian armed forces dragged the enemies of the country into a complete failure during the 12-day Israeli-US imposed war against the country.
He hailed the bravery of Iranian forces during the eight years of Sacred Defense.
The deputy IRGC commander then referred to the historic letter penned by the late founding father of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini (RA) after agreeing to the UN Resolution 589 during Iran-Iraq war, noting that the late Imam Khomeini (RA) enumerated the blessings of the war, ranging from the emergence of the Islamic Revolution to the defeat of two superpowers of the East and the West, strengthening the roots of the Islamic Revolution and awakening the Islamic world.
"The enemy did not achieve any of its objectives in the recent [12-day] war, although it was a difficult war and we lost loved ones," he underlined.
On June 13, Israel launched a blatant and unprovoked aggression against Iran, triggering a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 people in the country, including military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.
The United States also entered the war by bombing three Iranian nuclear sites in a grave violation of international law.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces targeted strategic sites across the occupied territories as well as the Al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the largest American military base in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran, through its successful retaliatory operations against both the Israeli regime and the US, managed to impose a halt to the aggression.
