IN AZERBAIJAN THE CUSTOMS DUTIES FOR WHEAT IMPORT CAN BE INCREASED
Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Ismet Abbasov said the customs duties for wheat imported into Azerbaijan can be increased.
The purpose is support of local farmers and businessmen, sales promotion of the food wheat produced in republic.
The minister underlined that it is necessary to apply 100 percent customs duties to the imported wheat. To this end, the Cabinet has been already made a relevant appeal. The increase in the customs duties for wheat will not affect price of bread, he emphasized.
