“KOROGLU” OPERA TO BE STAGED IN BISHKEK

Baku, 16 July (AzerTAc). The A. Maldibayev National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Kyrgyzstan will stage the “Koroglu” (The Blind Man's Son) opera, the masterpiece of Uzeyir Hajibayov, Azerbaijan's renowned composer and dramatist, on 9-10 September, Sultan Rayev, minister of culture and tourism of Kyrgyzstan told a news conference on 15 July.

The project with $1 million finance is implemented by organizational support of TURKSOY, uniting 14 Turkish-speaking countries, with the headquarters in Ankara.

The opera will also be performed in Al maty, Baku and a number of European countries.
