FM Arrives in Brussels to Participate in the Meetings of the Iraqi-European Cooperation Council today

Baghdad / NINA /- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived today, Friday, in Brussels to participate in the fourth Iraq–European Union Cooperation Council meeting, scheduled to be held in Luxembourg next Sunday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that, on the sidelines of the meetings, Minister Hussein will hold a series of bilateral talks with several of his counterparts and EU officials to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation and strengthening the partnership between the two sides in various fields.

The statement added that the convening of the Cooperation Council reflects the commitment of Baghdad and Brussels to consolidating their strategic partnership and continuing constructive dialogue on issues of mutual interest, contributing to security, stability, and development in the region./ End
