With Iraq's Participation... Seoul Int'l Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (ADEX 2025) Kicks off

Seoul/ NINA/- Special Correspondent of NINA- Mohammed Hameed- The Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition ADEX 2025, one of the world’s largest and most significant defense and aviation industry events, officially kicked off on Sunday morning in the South Korean capital.
The exhibition kicked off with a spectacular aerial show featuring the domestically produced T-50 and KF-21 aircraft, in the presence of numerous diplomatic delegations, Arab and foreign officials, and air force leaders from around the world, including a high-level delegation from Iraqi Ministry of Defense.
This year’s edition sets a new record with more than 600 companies from 35 countries participating. The indoor exhibition area at KINTEX spans approximately 49,000 square meters, placing it on par with the world’s leading air shows.
ADEX 2025 offers a diverse mix of aerial displays, commercial exhibitions, and interactive activities, including:
Aerial demonstrations featuring fighter jets, helicopters, and drones.
Defense equipment displays showcasing tanks, armored vehicles, air defense systems, and naval platforms.
Indoor and outdoor exhibits displaying aircraft and heavy equipment.
Interactive public activities, including live demonstrations, hands-on experiences, drone competitions, and aerobatic team shows.
The event also hosts a business and industry forum for bilateral meetings and the signing of memoranda of understanding, along with specialized technical and commercial conferences. Leading global defense and aerospace companies are presenting their latest technologies, creating opportunities for new partnerships and export growth.
The exhibition serves as a strategic platform for international cooperation in defense and aviation and comes at a time of heightened regional tensions in East Asia, further emphasizing its importance in advancing defense innovation, expanding Korea’s export opportunities, and strengthening global partnerships. /End
