National-dog Phungsan Show Held in DPRK

 Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- The national dog-Phungsan show-2025 took place at the Central Zoo in the DPRK from Oct. 29 to 31 under the sponsorship of the Korean Zoology Society of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
Present at the show were scientists and technicians in the fields of zoology and animal husbandry and veterinary work and residents who are raising Phungsan dogs in all provinces.
At the show, the rankings of the dogs were decided after examining their appearances and special techniques.
Certificates and prizes were awarded to the organizations, including Ryanggang Province and Pyongyang Municipality, that were highly appreciated and to members who contributed to preserving the pure breed of Phungsan dogs.
During the show there was a lecture on the biological features of Phungsan dog. -0-
