Preparations for Second-Stage Project of Tanchon Power Station

 Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- The military and civilian builders of the DPRK are pushing ahead with the preparations for the second-stage project of the Tanchon Power Station.
The soldier-builders engaged in tunneling of more than one thousand meters-long pit for the main waterway tunnel are increasing the utilization of rock-drills, mine cars and other machines and equipment and introducing advanced blasting methods according to rock conditions.
The brigade of the Kumgang Trading Guidance Bureau is strengthening its ranks of technicians and skilled workers and enhancing the role of construction workers.
The shock brigade members of the Rason Municipal Brigade are stepping up the pit construction while increasing the mucking capacity. -0-
