Iran, Kazakhstan reaffirm determination to attend international bodies

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtileu in a phone call stressed their determination to expand ties in various fields, as well as the importance of effective participation in regional and international organizations.

The two sides exchanged views on the latest status of bilateral relations and regional cooperation.

Referring to the positive and constructive history of relations between the two countries, the two diplomats stressed their common will for developing relations in political, economic, scientific, and cultural fields.

They also emphasized the importance of active presence in regional and international organizations, including the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), and agreed to continue consultations in this regard.

Araghchi congratulated Nurtileu on his appointment and expressed hope that this close cooperation would continue in the new period.
