AZERBAIJAN JUSTICE MINISTER MEETS OSCE SECRETARY GENERAL
Baku, July 16 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov has today met OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut.
The Minister spoke of ongoing judicial reforms in the country.
“Much has been done to improve Azerbaijan`s judicial system under President Ilham Aliyev,” said Mammadov.
He also praised the cooperation between Azerbaijan and OSCE.
De Brichambaut hailed the Azerbaijani government`s moves to modernize its judicial and penitentiary system.
“Construction of a Baku pretrial detention facility which meets modern standards is a vivid evidence of this,” the OSCE chief said.
The OSCE Secretary General also praised the cooperation between Azerbaijan and his organization.
